Research about meds

This is the eighth in a series of discussion forums at Diabetes.Blog.Com, and is for comments about upcoming medications for diabetes. It has been initiated after some off-topic posts about clinical trials at the August Byetta forum.

There are lots of snake oils, herbs, and other concoctions that outrageously claim to control blood glucose. Comments at this forum should pertain ONLY to drugs that are undergoing clinical trials in expectation of FDA approval. Comments about products that I deem dubious will be removed.

Searching this blog

I have added a new search feature for searching the contents of Diabetes.Blog.com, after I realized that the built-in search feature can't search the comments that folks have posted.

I found that Google catalogs everything at the blog -- comments and all. So I set up several site-specific Google searches for Diabetes.Blog.com, which are now located at our main website, at www.diabetesmonitor.com/searchdbc.htm

This "advanced search" feature is available at all times from the choices on the right side of this blog, where it is identified as "Advanced Search of Diabetes.Blog.com at DiabetesMonitor".

Byetta 2: August, 2005

This is the sixth in a series of discussion forums at Diabetes.Blog.Com, and is the August forum for discussions about Byetta. The participants in the original Byetta forum at this website overwhelmingly voted to initiate a monthly Byetta forum: there were 26 yes, 1 no opinion, and zero no votes as of early morning August 1.

The August Byetta forum was activated to allow comments on August 1, and at that time, the July Byetta forum was deactivated to prevent more posts to that forum. However, you can still read the posts there, and search for information throughout that forum by using your webbrowser's FIND or SEARCH feature while at that forum.
