Neuropathy

This Discussion Forum is for discussion of diabetic neuropathy (nerve problems that happen to people with diabetes). Examples include
  • the numbness and burning that happens in the feet (distal symmetrical polyneuropathy),
  • damage to the internal nerves of the gut, the bladder, and those controlling blood pressure and heart rate (autonomic neuropathy),
  • damage to one nerve (mononeuropathy), including the nerves controlling the eye muscles (extraocular muscle palsy), and
  • strokes (CVAs) and "little strokes" (TIAs).

Please review and follow our usual ground rules, at Ground Rules. For example, anything smacking of advertising by a sales rep will be deleted without warning. (To share your thoughts, use the "Comments" link immediately below. Instructions for entering comments may be found at How to Enter Comments. I have also posted some discussion of Etiquette for Commenting.)
