Diabetes.Blog.com named one of top 100 health-related blogs

The Nursing Online Education Database has announced its listing of the Top 100 Health and Wellness Blogs. "These top blogs were chosen for their popularity among users as well as their successes - both as professionals and as individuals who have changed or who are publicly changing lifestyles and overcoming their diseases and disabilities."

I am delighted to find that this blog, Diabetes.Blog.com, as well as the other blog which I write, at MyDiabetesCentral.com, are two of those selected for inclusion in the list.

1 - My husband has Type 2 Diabetes. He is also a colon cancer survivor. He has surgery and chemo 6 years ago and ever since his CEA numbers have been great. In the space of about 3 months his CEA went from l.2 to 5.9. During those 3 months he also went on Januvia after being taken off of Avandia. Does anyone have any info or any experience with lab test results changing after being on Januvia? Thanks for any help or ideas. (Comment this)

3 - My husband has been diagnosed with the beginnings Type II Diabetes. The doctor has not put him on any medications, but told him to watch his sugars. He is a dessert person and I am at a loss of what to give him other than nuts, fruit, no sugar fudgicles. Any suggestions out there? Appreciate any insights you may give me to help control his glucose. Thank you! (Comment this)

Go to column #8 and click the link for Meals, Eating, and Nutrition or for Recipe Swap. Browse and/or re-ask your question there.
