However, the principal investigators do not know the market information to effectively complete an business plan. I was charged with finding such information.
I would greatly appreciate any information or literature anyone could provide me, especially related to the current costs of type 1 therapies. Please contact me at 843-324-6444 or by e-mail at gbrewer@scbio.org.
Thank you for your time.

Thank you very much! Here is what the study is about:
What will the glucose monitoring of the future look like? You can help to determine the design of new monitors!
Knowing what your own glucose levels are at any one time – that is the wish of many diabetics and one which so-called Continuous Glucose Monitoring can fulfill. But what is really important to diabetics with a flexible insulin injection pattern (ICT), to pump users as well as to endocrinologists and those working in the field of diabetes consultancy? What features should such a monitor have?
The Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz study group is carrying out a study together with the 2hm & Associates GmbH market research institute in order to look into these issues in more detail. We want to find out what is important to you when it comes to Continuous Glucose Monitors. We are, therefore, kindly requesting you to take 12 to 15 minutes of your time for our online survey and, by doing so, to help determine the design of the glucose monitors of the future.
You will find the survey under: http://www.2hm.com/lookintothefuture/
As a small token of our appreciation all participants will be entered into a prize draw for an Amazon online gift token for 20 USD. At least every third participant will be a winner!
We really appreciate your support!
Thank you very much for your support!

I am a graduate student at the New School for Social Research working toward a PhD in Clinical/Health Psychology. I have had Type I Diabetes for 28 years. I am running a study on stress and diabetes control. The hope is to develop programs to help people deal with the daily stress of diabetes and adopt positive approaches to self-care to lead healthier lives. The survey will only take between 15 to 20 minutes of your time. The results will be collected anonymously, and you can complete the survey on your own time, wherever you feel most comfortable.
Please contact me via e-mail below for additional information, to sign up for the survey, or to recommend others who might be interested. Thank you very much for your consideration!

If you are a woman married to a type I diabetic and are interested in taking part in this very important confidential study, or if you are a man with type I diabetes and think your wife might be interested, please contact me at
hballas@optonline.net
The study will close in 3 months.
Thanking you all in advance.

As a graduate student at Pace University, I am writing my dissertation on sibling relationships among children with chronic medical conditions, diabetes in particular. As such, I am looking for services and groups for children and their families, specifically for children who are between 7 and 14 years of age.
Are there any groups, associations, websites, or list-serves that you would recommend? What programs has your family found to be most useful? I'd appreciate any information you could send my way. And if anyone is interested in finding out more about this project (or in participating in it!!!), please feel free to contact me at sajesr@yahoo.com. I'll always be happy to tell you more.
Thanks in advance for your help. I've also written a short blurb about my study for those who might want to know; you can find it below.
Thank you again!

This online workshop teaches you the skills needed in the day-to-day management of diabetes as well as maintaining or increasing life's activities. Qualified participants will be randomly assigned to either participate in the workshop immediately or to a control group. Both groups will complete 4 online questionnaires about their health over a 2-year period. During the first year of the study, control participants will receive a gift certificate after completing each questionnaire. After 12 months, control participants will receive the course materials.
Pre-registration is required and enrollment is limited. To register, visit us at http://diabetes.stanford.edu or email us at diabetes@med.stanford.edu for more information. (Comment this)

Hi there!
I am a researcher for an independent market research company based in Horsham England. We have 2 researchers coming over to Boston and Miami this weekend for 2 weeks and are looking to interview Type 2s who are either
Taking 2-3 oral agents and being considered for insulin but not yet on it
A new insulin user
Taking Byetta (with possibly other oral meds)
You will be financially compensated for your participation and we would want to interview you before April 4th
We would like to interview you for around 45 minutes and then accompany you in your everyday life for about 4-5 hours of a single day and videotape you to get a sense for the issues you encounter. We analyze the videotape later and it will only be used by our client (a healthcare company) for internal learning and training purposes.
As with all studies of this type, we will of course, have a written agreement for you to sign that guarantees you a confidential treatment of all personal information. Any such permission is totally at your discretion.
If you would be willing to take part in this study or would like further details then please contact me at the following email address research@zaicom.com giving details of how best we can contact you, and I can arrange for one of our interviewers to give you a call.
With very best wishes

I profiled myself in the book. But the editor would like me to include some profiles of other people who have been some of the biggest losers and have an interesting story to tell.
If I can include your experience in the book, I would need to know the basic things like how much weight you lost, what your weight was when you started on Byetta, and when that was, and what you weigh now.
How important was willpower? Do you have any particular weight loss strategy? Did you have any problems, like with nausea? How is the weight loss affecting your life generally?
I will identify you in the book any way you want -- first name, first and last, or no name.
You can email me directly at mendosa@mendosa.com or call me at (303) 499-5544. Or let me know, and I will call you.
Many thanks.

I am a graduate student from Southern California working on a project focused on investigating potential characteristics of future treatments. More specifically, we have started looking at long term delivery mechanisms that would decrease daily dosing, and would appreciate feedback from patients regarding this potential change in treatment paradigm.
